Expand description

Failure before request ownership transfers to the queue.

Variants§

§

NeedsReset

A prior malformed completion requires reset.

§

DiscoveryRequired

Device information must be discovered first.

§

InflightLimit

Every bounded tracking slot is occupied.

§

RequestIdExhausted

No request identifier could be selected without aliasing live work.

§

StaleHandle

A typed handle belongs to a prior queue epoch.

§

InvalidArgument

Typed arguments contradict retained object bounds or usage.

§

DeviceLimit

A request exceeds an advertised semantic device limit.

§

RequestCapacity

The device-readable chain length is not the exact request frame length.

Fields

§required: u64

Required exact frame length.

§available: u64

Supplied readable bytes.

§

ResponseCapacity

The device-writable chain cannot hold the largest valid response.

Fields

§required: u64

Required response capacity.

§available: u64

Supplied writable bytes.

§

SourceAccess(ByteAccessError)

The caller-provided request source could not be read.

§

ChainAccess(CE)

The chain request region could not be written.

§

Publish(PublishErrorKind<QE>)

Queue publication failed before ownership transfer.
